Before you write

A fix changed the wrong words. Every fix is reversible: open Changes and press Undo. The original text goes back exactly as it was. If Undo reports a conflict, the field was edited in Shopify after the fix was applied, so the app will not overwrite the newer text - copy the original from the Changes page and paste it back yourself.

A finding is wrong for your product. Some claims are allowed when you can substantiate them. Add the phrase to the ignore list in Settings and it stops being reported for your shop.

The guarantee notice is not showing. It is a theme block, so it has to be placed once. Open the Notice page in the app and press the button that opens the theme editor with the block added, drag it where you want it - the footer is the usual home - and press Save. If you press that button more than once you will get more than one notice; delete the extra block in the theme editor.

The notice is in the wrong language. By default the block follows the storefront language. Fifteen of the twenty-four official language files are bundled; if yours is not one of them the block shows your fallback language and says so in the theme editor. Upload the official file for your language in the block settings, or write and ask for it to be added.

What ClaimSafe EU is not

It is a tool, not legal advice. It flags wording that the directive restricts and suggests safer phrasing; whether a particular claim is defensible for your product is a judgement you or your legal adviser make.
